AR Rahman wins laurels at 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards
Mozart of Madras once again did India proud by winning the coveted Best Original Song award at the 16th Critics Choice Awards, Los Angeles, for his spirited number ‘If I Rise’ in collaboration with Dido, Zee News reported.
Written by Rollo Armstrong and Dido, ‘If I Rise’ is one of the soundtracks performed by AR Rahman and Dido for Danny Boyle’s Recent Movie ‘127 Hours’.
‘127 Hours’ is a biographical adventure flick based on the life and times of mountain climber Aron Ralston. A.R. Rahman has also been nominated for the 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for ‘127 Hours’.
